The squirrels that eat the seeds the birds drop have been out there all day. In fact, there have been 2-3 of them together. I hope I'm not killing them. Are squirrels supposed to eat for hours at a time?

The squirrels at my house eat birdseed all day. When they go home at night they're like beanbags with feet. They're fine.

I've had squirrels come up to my 4th floor balcony over the years for peanuts. Sometimes one will sit right there and eat them, others will take two, go back to the ground and disappear around the building. I assume they're burying them sometimes.
