Fun fact: We actually have some wild monkeys here in the US too. There's a group of monkeys that having been living wild in a swamp in Florida after they either escaped or were let go from a nearby lab.

Were you one who thought those guys were overdoing it? I had aunts, uncles and cousins who still had the accent years after they moved up north.


I was once on a train goin' into downtown Chi from Arlington Heights w/ cousins, during a family reunion, to visit the museums, and I swear to gawd the conductor/ticket-puncher looked just like Bill Swerski and I dared him to say it. What he asked?

'Da... Bears.' I said, and he did. It cracked us all up. :guffaw:
