So I managed to take a few videos of the horses I'm concerned about, and when I showed them to my mom she agreed that they're not in the best shape and I should keep an eye on them. I thought about posting them here to show you guys, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea since I took these videos in secret.
And she agreed something else I noticed on one of them does not look good. They're both males and one of their sheaths is huge, way bigger than they normally are. Where it's usually a little bump, his hangs way down. I noticed it a while ago, but didn't really think much of it, until I started looking more closely at other males and realized that most of them don't look like that. The only ones that do, are ones that are have some kind of medical condition.

there's a new documentary recration (Prehistoric Planet) on Apple TV that shows feathered velociraptors. They're still scary :)

I feel like these guys are much closer in looks and especially temperament to velociraptors....

From dinosaurs to birds
Theories of their evolutionary link date back 140 years
Sat 7 Feb 2009 07.00 EST

As long ago as 1869, the English biologist Thomas Henry Huxley first suggested that birds might be closely related to dinosaurs. He noted similarities between the hindlimb of Megalosaurus and ostriches. Yet it took more than a century for Huxley to be proved right.
