I caught one of these on my fishing line once, guess which one?
Love that video. The last apartment complex I lived in had a 50+ year old common snapper living in the swampy river next door. He used to cross the parking lot once in a while to get to a pond. Belligerent old shit.
I'm sorry but you're just not on the list.
Snapping turtles are that for sure and we ate one once, but not the one that I caught. I threw his ass back.
btw, they taste like chicken.

I would've thought snappers would be too tough to eat. And I could tell you deep fried alligator tasted like chicken, but I'd be lying
I love how the dog is just sitting watching the squirrel, confused.
It amazes me how often you see a big aggressive predator being scared of something a fraction of their size.

Not one of my better efforts here, but then again Frogfish are difficult to photograph. Or, at least, the camera has trouble with their camouflage when auto-focusing:
