The Animals That Aren't Dogs or Cats Thread

Doesn't anybody knock anymore?

That is one surprised bunny.
So I mentioned the other day that one of the Stooges, Moe hadn't been out in a while, but he was out today with Larry and another horse who wasn't Curly, and he even came over to say hi for a little bit. Larry is still ignoring me though.

These are the Salt River Wild Horses out here in Az. I have a couple little notes on this video though. The title says playful horses, but I'm not entire sure they were playing, that might have been two stallions fighting. You're not supposed to get withing 50ft of them, and it looked to me like the person taking the video got closer than that.

I think this horse was a little happy to see their new ball.

That's like the zoo in my yard. I got a squirrel proof bird feeder that was only squirrel proof for 5 minutes. I started putting out peanuts for the squirrels.
Now the blue jays eat the peanuts and the squirrels mostly stick with the bird seed.
I have the same problem! But I also have a robin that is picking up peanuts and I have never seen that before.

I've always been a little disappointed we don't have tree squirrels out here in the AZ desert. We do have rock squirrels, but they're not very common, or they at least don't come out much in populated area, because in the 20+ years we've lived out here, I've only seen them a few times. We do have a lot of Harris's antelope squirrels, but they're more like chipmunks than your usual tree squirrels. I think if you go up into the mountains, which are cooler with a lot of forest, you do see some.

It kind of amazes me how noisy horses eating is.

I forgot to mention when I posted this, that if you like Hank, they actually see Handsome Hank shirts on Bonfire.
Most of the rescue have merchandise that they sell to help raise money, I have a All Seated in a Barn shirt that I'm actually wearing right now, and I ordered a Furvivors hat last week.

Could we not make fun of him please? I was really hoping to keep that kind of crap out of this thread.
