Well that sucked. The only team left that I liked is gone now. I guess I will root for Tammy and Victor in the finale, because I dislike them the least. I can't stand Luke and Margie anymore, they are really getting on my nerves.
If I was guaranteed the million, probably. If it's just to stay in the running, probably not.Would you really piss yourself though? Even for a million dollars?
Also, Victor is still being a bit dickish, but I guess they're the only team to win.

You noticed that he couldn't quite let Tammy say the food items on her own, huh?![]()
And it only took a challenge specifically centered on speaking Chinese for them to pull into the lead.Clearly they deserved to dominate the China leg at least.
Well, it's not like they were guaranteed to even make it to China.I have a good friend who's 28 and has lived in 5 countries on 3 continents for at least a year each. We've always joked that someday we'll apply to the race.
She wondered once if they shy away from choosing racers who have a specific knowledge of certain regions, but after Tammy and Victor there's no longer any question about that. I mean, they're clearly one of the more competent teams this go around, but it's like they were just gifted a spot in the final three...

I agree. If I were going to be on the Race, I'd put together a cheat sheet of useful phrases in as many major languages as I can (if contestants are allowed to bring such a thing).Well, it's not like they were guaranteed to even make it to China.I have a good friend who's 28 and has lived in 5 countries on 3 continents for at least a year each. The last three races, Mandarin has been as important as Spanish.
Honestly, if you are selected to be on the race, having basic knowledge of several major languages seems like an obvious thing to do - just as much as physical training.
If memory serves me right, the only region they've sort of really skipped out on is the Middle East, but learning Mandarin and Spanish seems like a good idea.
