It's interesting there haven't been any U turns yet. I hope they get rid of U turns, I've always hated them cause it turns Amazing Race into Survivor. I liked the Yield and such better because it's a setback, not a death sentence.
Non elimination legs are kind of a necessity due to the relationship of number of teams to number of episodes. But I agree, they need to make there be more consequences especially when there's a plane first thing next leg that equalizes everyone. The begging was a terrible solution those seasons, but the speed bump was a good one.
