The Ahsoka series is coming.

Well hello there Ezra's Lightsaber; you weren't there in the Rebels coda, were you?

That plus Ahsoka's pre-Balrog tussle wardrobe and dearth of weird hoopy stick makes me wonder just how many times she's going to visit Sabine like this before they finally go on that road trip.

It's kind of sad in a way since fan trailers used to be fun.
The first fan trailer I remember was for the SW prequel film. It has the Jedi/Braveheart scene which was pretty cool. It was crude, but definitely got me psyched.

Rule of thumb: if a trailer isn't posted by the official channel, it's not real.
Indeed; if I know a trailer for something I'd like to see is out I generally don't search for the trailer by title, I search for the official studio/production company/franchise channel, and go from there. YT is infested with fan edits and "concept trailers" posing as the real thing for clicks, and they always seem to float to the top of search results.
I do the exact same thing for the same reason. Although I have found a few other pages, like Rotten Tomatoes Trailers, that only post real stuff.

Fake trailers I kind of easy to spot for me. As soon as see something from a previous movie I know right then it is a fake.

90% sure that's not Eighth Brother as some claim. For one thing, I count five fingers, not four. The lightsaber design is totally different, the armour isn't even close, the helmet is a different different shape that entirely lacks that distinctive Vader/shikoro style neck flair. Indeed the only thing at all similar aside from the usual Imperial Inquisitor aesthetic is the slatted visor. Also you'd think if they were casting for a Terrelian Jango Jumper they'd cast a much more lithe stunt performer.

Regardless of which sibling they are: one interesting detail is the utter lack of an Imperial cog, lending credence to my initial assumption that this is a former Inquisitor on the run, which has an odd kind of poetic justice about it. Or tragedy, depending on how they were recruited.

really?

Some trailers don’t even have the final name in them, let alone a second of actual footage from the movie.

Yep. I spotted scenes from both Generations and even the tv show including the D. One I think was even from "Best of Both Worlds."
my point was that THAT was the official teaser trailer: the real VFX hadn’t been done yet, so they just used stuff from previous movies and episodes.

Suffice to say that re-use of footage is by no means a sure fire way of determining if a trailer is the real thing or not.
Which just brings me back to my original point: just go direct to the source.
