The Action Figure and Toy Collecting and Discussion Thread!

I wonder if the new movie is going to throw a wrench in the Original Trilogy's 3D releases, though. I wouldn't think they would want any overlap. Is the plan now to release all three in 2014? That would be nice.

That seems to be the current plan.

Episode I: 2012
Episodes II,III: 2013
Original Trilogy: 2014
Episode VII: 2015

Seven movies over a 39-month time span.

I still have these in a drawer:

They belong to my Hayabusa set. I think I'm gonna buy Clone Troopers, replace their heads and do a paint job...

Part 2 of Barton's Babysitting Adventure!

"Get these mother fuckin'...awwwww, they're cute."

"Hulk like puny babies!"

"But where did they come from?" "Well, Cap...when a mommy and a daddy love each other very much..."

"This tiny human, I like it! ANOTHER!" "Here, take mine. What annoying little creatures."

The Life Model Decoys of Clint and Tasha (I decided against putting goatees on them!) watch the craziness from above.

Meanwhile, Clint and Tasha had fun in the snow today.

Found an extra Nom Anor and Rebel Fleet Trooper at my local TRU earlier today. Both figures are pretty hard to find and more or less always have been.

Winter Solider is still jealous of Clint. "Hey Barton...'Tasha's my girlfriend now!" ;)

Art Aslyum provided a ship release update a couple of days ago, for comic book shops getting theirs ships. Looks like next month is when we can expect the Enterprise-E. This month is when the Enterprise-D was supposed to be released, and the Klingon Bird of Prey from "Star Trek III: The Search For Spock" has already been shipped.

I know the feeling.

My apologies, buddy. :)

To be frank it's one of the only Nom Anors I've ever seen in a store. He's usually the first figure in his wave to sell out because he's an Expanded Universe alien that looks like Skeletor. I just had good timing, that's all.

There's a Buy One Get One 50% Off sale on Star Wars in effect at all Toys "R" Us stores until at least this Saturday or Sunday if anybody else is interested and was looking for an excuse to pick up two figures for $14.98.

The new mini-vehicles with figures in the 2013 green Yoda packaging are also part of the sale. You can get two sets for $34.99.

Mine still have a few Millennium Falcons and MTT Transports that just aren't selling and just....well, sit there. The $179.99 pricepoint on the MTT and the whopping $249.99 on the Falcon just aren't helping when you can go to a Walmart and score the Transport for $129 or even less depending on the store and if there's an unannounced markdown still in effect.
