Ugh Nooooooooooo
Not really, no. There is still a variety out there, especially in the Disney secret packs. They actually started those figures several years before Disney bought Lucasfilm. Those were originally a tie-in to the Star Tours thing at Disneyland. Interestingly, that figure line ended after Disney actually got Star Wars, because now they wanted to make Star Wars look more serious or something.

It's called fun. Toys are supposed to have fun, without worries about context or in universe rationalizations.Yeah, toy companies sure make some odd accessories and such for genre characters. Fun for play value, but silly in the context of the TV show/movie/comic book/whatever.
Like what on earth is this thing? https://galacticfigures.com/figureDetails.aspx?id=7004&img=3

For this particular line, the last new figures were released in 2015. Tons of these were made, so it's still pretty easy to find them. Not really, no. There is still a variety out there, especially in the Disney secret packs.
Er, yes, I did acknowledge that. It's called fun. ...
Ooohhh...makes sense. For this particular line, the last new figures were released in 2015. Tons of these were made, so it's still pretty easy to find them.
You did and my sloppy copy paste of a quote screwed my sentence up.Er, yes, I did acknowledge that.![]()
LOL! Not pregnant - she's in a swimsuit with a beachball in front of her. And of course he called her pompous- she was!Was that a pregnant Lisa Hayes? Isn't she pompous? Didn't Rick call her pompous?
I'd love a Goliath!Stone Armor Goliath from Kenner, missing his stone armor, as well as his tail, but having looked through Ebay, it's hard enough to find one with the wings. Also a pain in the ass to get to stand, the tail really would have helped there.
I like the Black Series Leia figure (what does "black series" mean anyway?). They're also releasing a gorgeous Leia Force FX lightsaber I'm drooling over.Other stuff announced a few hours ago, besides the two figures that @cooleddie74 showed above:
Black Series figures: Princess Leia (Ewok Village), New Republic Security Droid, Nalan Cheel (the Bith playing the xylophone-like thing), Clone Trooper (187th Battalion).
Black Series prop/costume things: Obi-Wan Kenobi Force FX lightsaber, Darth Vader electronic helmet

Yesterday had some great announcements, especially the heavy trooper for the Gaming Greats line. That line is shaping up to be my favorite.A Vintage Collection Anakin Skywalker from Attack of the Clones was revealed this morning. It's a 2013 Black Series figure updated with Real Photo technology on the head and a soft goods robe. I like that cardback a lot.

USA Today said:In creating something new and different with Star Wars, the color black became an inspiration for toy designers, DePriest says. "It's one of the main colors of Star Wars all the way back to the beginning, and it's the approach that Lucasfilm has taken with their collector-oriented product line. We're bringing that simplicity and essence and focus on the character now to the toy aisle."
Can't wait to see pictures. Going to preorder a couple of figures now.So I now have the Mandalorian Super Commando and the Heavy Assault Stormtrooper on pre-order, along with a Bigbadtoystore.com exclusive ARC Trooper that I wasn't aware of before.
Yeah, that Black Line confusion really irritated me. I still am trying to sort this out because the articulation on that series is quite good, but finding the 3.75 is frustrating me...a lot."The Black Series" is just the name of this particular line that has been going for several years. Mostly six-inch scale action figures that lean a little more toward collector appeal than little kid appeal, and a few life-size prop/costume pieces. Though there was a time period at the beginning of the line when the more detailed/articulated 3.75" scale action figures were also being sold under the Black Series label instead of the Vintage Collection line (where they belong).
I finally saw the Attakus Millennium Falcon diorama in person at a collectibles shop. I think it was made in the late 2000s. It's a French company that had a line of premium Star Wars stuff in 1/18th scale, approximately the same scale as the the Kenner/Hasbro figures. They must have been able to get a license to make stuff in that scale without stepping on Hasbro's toes because it was aimed at a completely different market. The figurines (static, not articulated action figures) and the diorama were all die-cast metal, and pricey. Unlike the Hasbro/Kenner vehicles that are designed to be more compact and smaller than true 1/18 scale, the Millennium Falcon set is accurately scaled, but it's a cutaway with less than half of the ship on the right side. It's quite detailed and nicely done. Combined with the Death Star hall/hangar, the whole thing is six feet long. Also weighs about 300 lbs, and originally retailed at over $3,000!
