I don't have any scenery or anything like that, but I'll have a few pics to share as soon as my late package gets here. It was supposed to be here Friday, but the last two entries in the tracking, which lists it at my local post office, say "Vacant". They said that on Friday morning at 4 am. No delivery on Friday nor Saturday. I hope it comes Monday. This is something I've wanted for longer than the product has existed.

At least my Caterpillar P-5000 has arrived, though I've yet to take it out of the package.

My package still hasn't arrived, and I figured out why...the post office arbitrarily marked my package as having attempted delivery to a vacant house or business. It arrived at the post office at almost 5 am and they marked it as vacant at a little after 7 am. They didn't even attempt to deliver it, and now it's on its way back to China.

Need to talk to the seller.

I did get one package today, though, and I'll get images soon. :)

Sounds to me more like you need to speak to the post office!!!

First pic- A cute find. A working mini gumball machine with real gumballs! They are actually party favors. I'd never seen them before.

At least McFarlane is sticking with 7-inch scale, but I'm worried that they'll be limited in articulation. No doubt McFarlane set the new standards when it comes to detailed figures, but they've been moving out of "action" figures into figures in fixed action poses. I don't want that.

The only reason Star Wars figures are Hasbro now is that Hasbro ate Kenner. They've had the same figure manufacturer since 1977. I wish it could've been that way with Trek, too.

Anyway, because of Art Asylum (Diamond Select), NECA, and now McFarlane, it seems that 7-inch scale is my scale now.

I still need to take pics of what I have received, but I never did get that package, though I talked to the seller, and once it arrives back to them, they'll resend it. I just need to wait for a round trip from here to China and back. That said, I don't know if I can wait that long, so I ordered another one from another seller. :)

What it is is the Queen Alien from Aliens. 15-inches tall and 30-inches long, in-scale with 7-inch figures.

I've also received "Rescuing Newt", which is the Ripley and Newt 2-pack of 7-inch figures, and the Caterpillar P-5000 Power Loader in the same scale.. Those two sets are still in the package, though they will be coming out. Oh, yeah, and an Aliens Xenomorph. I've removed it from its bubble.

And based on an earlier suggestion, I FINALLY ordered the original crew by Diamond Select. Three 2-packs and a separate Chekov. I think I got them for a reasonable price.

I've already spent enough this morning (I also ordered two Alien Big Chaps and an Aliens Xenomorph Warrior, but I'm SO tempted to order a 7-inch scale Gizmo from Gremlins.

Just a-walkin' down memory lane.

He is! They had only three left at this GameStop so I had to make sure to get it. There's no guarantee that they'll receive another shipment.

I was busy this weekend, building my first lightsaber.

Here she is, a TFA Graflex with light and sound.

I should probably have some pics by morning.

In the last couple of days, I've received my Original Series crew from Art Asylum / Diamond Select.

I just need to figure out how to open all of these...quietly. There are people sleeping in the house.

I still need to open the Power Loader.

It turns out my Queen was sent back because the seller put the wrong address (they didn't put a street address on, just P.O. Box and then nothing. So it was a vacant address label, not a vacant house or business (that's why they didn't even attempt to deliver it. They had no idea WHERE it was supposed to go.).

I let the seller know, but they're waiting for the original to come back to them to ship a new one. In the meantime, I've ordered another, but it's also coming from China, so who knows when she'll be here. I'm also waiting for drones (warriors) from 1979 and 1986.

These 7-inch TOS figures really have my creative juices flowing, now that they're opened. I'm trying to figure out how I could improve them, and what sorts of sets and props, etc., to give them.

I'm not sure how far down the NECA hole I'll go. I'm trying to decide if I want to get into the Predator and Terminator figures, too. That said, Gizmo will be here on Sunday.

are there any 1/10-scale Daleks or K-9s out there?
