Ah, I remember the bend-em figures. Those weren't bootlegs; they were actually an officially licensed product from the dark times in the '90s before the real action figures came back (and the first Kenner action figures of that time were the Power of the Force line that were all buff like they were on steroids).

Did you find that picture somewhere? Or did you put him on that card yourself? :p

I just stumbled upon that picture and found it hilarious, but that's actually kind of a fascinating story behind that one - I never would have thought it's not a bootleg.

Though, come to think of it, the "bendable, poseable" on the POTF card makes it seem like a bootleg version of the official bend-ems... who would even bother?

Back in '95, I remember calling K-Mart and asking if they had Princess Leia Power of the Force figure...NOT the Bend-em. They told me they sure did! So I went down there, only to find they held the Bend-em for me, NOT the Power of the Force figure. Those things were the bane of my existence at that time.

They are still in need of a good paint job, but here we go!
I loved the idea to pose the white stormtrooper with the white chair! Makes me almost wish to not paint them. Also, I never before noticed the triangles at the back. I learn so many details from my figures and props, which I then look out for while watching the next episode.

Either or both of my next projects will be sure to please.
Oh, damn...I just had an idea.
Haha, welcome to the club! Happens to me all the time. Too many ideas, too little time!

Those 3D molded chairs from the TOS Enterprise look fantastic! I also love the 6" Stormtrooper Han Solo and TWOK Admiral Kirk landing party figures. I don't think I've ever seen that Admiral Kirk before. What line is he from if you haven't already said so and I didn't see it?
Look for "Regula I Kirk". He should be fairly easy and cheap to find on ebay but if for some reason not, I actually have a spare mint in package lying around that came with a set of other figures.
Here are some detailed pictures I took a while ago. The details are indeed awesome:

While looking for these pictures I stumbled about the brass band ones. Re-post for Scribble ;)

And a bit of Gotham silliness - I was taking serious pictures of the Penguin and his umbrella when it suddenly reminded me of "Singing in the Rain" so this happened:

I got this Kong Skull Island Samuel L. Jackson figure set recently. I got it for this cool radio station setup and it's all around pretty cool. He's a small 4 inch scale figure but this set for $10 bucks was worth it. I also got this cheap sticker book that came with a few nice usable backgrounds. Combined with this small astroturf rug I got for a dollar, I was able to make a quick jungle scene.

Stinging in the rain...
LOL!

That set is amazing! Sadly too small for my style but I totally can see the value. And a bargain at that price, in my size I would have to pay at least 30 bucks.
And the background is pretty neat too. Great haul!

The Detolf needed Spring cleaning and I told them that I am not their mother and they are big enough to do it themselves.
Note how Sherlock made himself scarce.

Yes it is pretty small. And what's even funnier is that it's a reissue of an older toy from 2004 that was repurposed for Kong Skull Island. Had to get some use out of those old molds haha.

I bet Kirk is wishing Scotty had a quick electric cleaning device to help out. :D

Definitely an interpretation of their appearances.

Nice work on the lab!

So...One:12 Collective Kirk, Spock, and Sulu, or New PC to replace the one that recently crashed? New PC will obviously cost more, but the figures will delay getting it if I go that route.
