Those are cool, Astra!

I got another one of the 2016 special American Girl minis- Samantha.

And I found this adorable baker's set at A.C. Moore.

Finally, I re-did the doll swing with ivy and tiny flowers.

Well Valentine's Day is coming, it's my birthday, and I don't want a party.

But I did get an early present.

I've never done one of these things. Looks like a Bionicle in Star Wars clothing.

There's some interesting pics of the Japanese CW Bruticus set here, which replaces the repainted Slingshot/Quickslinger mold with an entirely new mold for Blast Off. The color schemes have been altered to be more like their cartoon colorations, and in some ways that's a good thing (this version of Onslaught is far more appealing IMO), and include some of the oddball details that went into the final versions of the models (Onslaught's truck hood and grill was drawn as forming his waist in robot mode, even though the actual toy didn't work this way. Same with Swindle, whose character model had a different type of jeep and an inverted transformation from his actual toy).

As for Blast Off, I'm kind of mixed. I still feel like he's stuck with the short end of the stick. I wish I could say the new mold was better, but in some ways it still feels a bit lacking from these pictures. His shuttle mode seems the worse of the two, looking more like a folded robot, and I wish his cockpit didn't form that big chest piece now. Aside from that, I do like this set better than the Hasbro versions. Perhaps I'm just being more nitpicky than I should. :p

I recently tried to get my hands on the remake of Transformers Blaster called "Transistor" and they're sold out.. Was that only a limited run?

That looks to be the case, since it's a third-party figure. They might get more in eventually, but I know 3P figures often have more limited runs. I have a 3P Six-Gun figure scaled for the modern Metroplex along with Slammer, which is overall a pretty cool figure. :DThere's a set based on the Jumpstarters I might eventually look into, and that would give me nearly a whole party of Wreckers in theory.

OK Darth Vader is now built. Youtube vidoeos say a build time of 18 minutes. Well that's fine if you have perfect vision and all haha. Took me 90 minutes.

I saw some great DC character action figures, made by a Japanese company. The scale was about 6". Harley Quinn was very impressive.

Unfortunately, they were $60 apiece. :(

I finally scored the 6" Black Series X-Wing Pilot Asty at my local Toys "R" Us. He was the only figure left in his wave assortment and they had nothing else from the newest waves but at least I found Asty and he's probably the coolest-looking of the figures in Wave 4.

Now I have to find Wave 5 with Han from The Force Awakens, Finn in his Stormtrooper Armor with blood-smeared helmet and Jango Fett. There's also a First Order Flametrooper in that wave.

Ahead of this weekend's Toy Fair in NY, DC Collectibles has revealed a bunch of new toys.

Highlights include a B:TAS figure-scale Batwing (!), a bunch of nice new B:TAS figures, A Batman Beyond 3-pack with Terry McGinnis Batman, Old Man Wayne and Ace, an actual Oracle figure (part of an Arkham Knight 2-pack alongside her previous caped persona featured in DLC, Batgirl), a line of 6" figures of characters from the Man of Steel (Zod, Faora and Jor-El), Batman vs Superman (everybody), and Suicide Squad (Harley Quinn and Diablo), and an Arrow/Flash two pack featuring a maskless Barry (hopefully that's just an alternate head).

Pics here (go to the very bottom of each page to see additional pics not included in the main articles.): Link one, link two

Good news for Enterprise fans here: After 14 years, Diamond Select is bringing back the electronic NX-01 Enterprise, overhauled with new paint, lights, sounds and Archer dialogue.

That fitness equipment is made in some interesting colors.

Yeah, that's Barbie for you. I should probably paint it. Or change the pictures in black and white, that should help too? But for the magazine cover I thought, the more colors the better :D

Congratulations on your win @Astra. It's a very adorable shoot. :)
Thank you!

I'm 24. Here's an old pic from a few years ago. What really happened after Arena? Samus killed the Gorn by accident. He's dead Jim.
I love this! He looks very dead indeed, face-down like that. Great picture! I have the gurney as well, I bought the Mulder and Scully figures just for that ;)

What do you think of the new 7" Diamond Select Mulder & Scully? I would love to have them in bigger, so they would fit with other figures (the original ones are too small) and they come with weapons and accessories, and diorama pieces which include an office floor and wall for Mulder, and a desk and chair combo for Scully, which alone should be worth it. But I really don't like their faces? I hope they do something about that after all the backslash in the internet.

Are the Doctor Who Playmobil figures real?

That last picture you posted in the snow is also awesome! Great angle also.

We don't have snow at the moment, but here are some pictures of the Doctor visiting me in my homecity Dresden a few years ago:

The other side of the river, you can walk or bicyle here:

But in winter there is sledding ;)
