The Action Figure and Toy Collecting and Discussion Thread!

Cool. I think there's already a Funko version of Tony Montana in the driver's seat of a tiny version of his convertible.

I wish Funko would do Doctor Who and Sherlock.

This is it- the end of the Shelf Avengers Advent Calendar!

Their stockings were hung by the chimney with care...

Christmas Day bonus- the Avengers and friends try to recreate the ending of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

oooh, Dark Crystal. i've been tempted by the Planet of the Apes Funko guys but never got em. i'm just not crazy about bobble head/chibi type stuff. but Dark Crystal is a whole other matter.

Someone from the board who shall go nameless sent me an Amazon gift certificate (thank you, Nameless Someone). I'll likely spend it on something impractical, and might get the Diamond Select TOS pistol phaser since I've wanted a replica since 1966. But their TOS tricorder also interests me. Is anyone familiar with either one of these? I'm not really interested in their electronic effects, more in how close they look to the actual props.

Received a 20" Jakks Pacific Biker Scout for Christmas today. It's pretty cool and I'm thankful my friends wanted to get it for me. The Biker Scout is one of the more impressive of the current 20" and 31" Jakks Pacific Star Wars characters being sold at retail.

You always have such nice things I like to look at on here.

I wasn't impressed with Marvel Legends Winter Soldier, but hopefully Marvel Legends Blizzard will be okay when it comes out in 2015. I'm still keeping my fingers cross Northstar will also be release in the same year. I heard late he suppose to come out in late winter early spring.

Well, here's the penultimate DC Universe Classics figure: Damian Wayne as Robin. Just in time for Damian to return in the comics, too. Finally father and son are together again:

All that's left is Doomsday, if he ever makes it past the port strike.

Got the 4" Catwoman at Target today.

My TRU was a barren wasteland, which should be a good thing if they restock correctly, but they couldn't tell me when that will be.

Thanks. I appreciate that, man. I'm glad that you guys get enjoyment out of looking at both my stuff that I post pictures of and other posters' collections.

I got the Black Series deluxe Biker Scout myself, from my sister. Also quite impressive. :techman:

The better value of the two current Deluxe 6" figures, for sure. At least the Biker Scout comes with a weapon and a Speeder Bike complete with a display stand. Jabba looks great, but the Biker Scout is just the better purchase and comes with far more plastic. Congrats! He looks great either inside or outside of the window box, doesn't he?
