For Playmates in the '90s that's actually a pretty decent facial sculpt and likeness of Joan Collins. They did a good job with her hair and hat. She looks pretty good for being designed and released during that time.
I also got a Balok with puppet figure. It includes Kirk so I now have a Kirk figure the same scale as Edith. Now to see of those playmates trek figures will fit in my DST Back to the future Delorean. hehehe.
My latest purchase- the new version of the mini Samantha doll from American Girls. The new minis are slightly taller, have solid plastic bodies, and softer hair than the originals.

I picked up a Figuarts Mario and one of the accessory kits today. I am really happy with this. It's gorgeously sculpted, super articulated, and just about as perfect a version of everyone's favorite Italian plumber as you could ask for.

Where did you get it? I've been wanting to get that same set.
^Barnes and Noble has Mario (with coin, ? Block, and Mushroom) for $25 and the accessory set (Goomba, Coin, ? Block, 2 Blocks, and the base) for $20. They also had the other one that has another Goomba, pipes, koopa shell, and alternate hands.
Well I spoke to soon. I went into the Rite-Aid to pickup a prescription this afternoon and they had three 6-inch Black Series figures on the toy shelf. THREE! This was the first time I have actually seen the figures in the wild over here in Redneck-Murderville. They had Han Solo, Bespin Luke, and a Stormtropper, each with an asking price of $16. I grabbed the Stormtropper. The box was a little damaged but I didn't care. It was $16! 
Thank you. I had a wonderful experience at a Barns and Nobel store once. It's how I discovered the lovely Starbase Columbus store here in Ohio.
Finally scored a Black Series 3.75" Snowtrooper Commander at a local Walmart! I don't know where all the other Snowtrooper Commanders have been because I've found almost every other figure in both Waves 4 and 5 before stumbling upon this guy, but at least they finally had one of him on the pegs. He's a pretty impressive trooper and just different and unique enough compared to previous Snowtrooper figures that he stands out. I like him a lot. Solid sculpt and paint apps.

I finally found my camera USB cord...in my box of figures no less... I can finally work on my next strip. I have plenty of ideas so I can't wait to begin.
