The Action Figure and Toy Collecting and Discussion Thread!

Thanks. I needed a good reason to shoehorn Mario into the Star Trek universe. There are more random adventures to come. I have all kinds of random action figures to tell strange new tales. ;)

Those Sideshow Han and Chewie figures look fantastic. Add the EBS Jacket and Pants with Han and you got an instant buy.

@OdoWanKenobi thanks. I used photoshop. But you could do the same with GIMP a similar program to Photoshop you can get for free. I need to save up and get those Star Wars "Black" Series figures so I can do a random crossover with them too. I already spent a bunch getting all the DST TOS figures and Trials and tribble-ations figures so I'll have to wait a while. :)

There was a Damian released in the Batman Inc. line, but he's grown to ridiculous prices on the secondary market. I think the Batman and Son version was a pack-in with a Tim Drake Robin. Mattel has a Damian coming at the end of the year. Maybe DC will decide to do another one with Robin Rises going on.

Wow. That's a lot of model cars! And yes, it qualifies, it's the action figure and TOY collecting thread. ;)

Yeah, it's not everyday you see Captain Kirk hunched on the toilet and Mario arriving to fix it. Toilet humor may be toilet humor, but sometimes it delivers.

Yes. Yes, it does. :p Now I'm inspired to continue my Avengers and the Holy Grail thing, with the rude Frenchman's fart jokes.

We've done and shown worse. Some of us as recently as today. Or....right now.

But I digress.

Got this little fellow for my Hawkeye collection. The Disney Infinity game piece. I don't care about the game, I just wanted the figure!

Sometimes the smallest collectibles can be the most interesting and the most fun. Nice little score!

The very first packaged images of the all-new 6" Black Series TIE Fighter Pilot, Yoda and Clone Trooper Sergeant have been posted online! All three look pretty great and I like the classic Kenner-flavored accessories included with the Yoda, but that TIE Pilot just might be the greatest figure in the assortment.

I'm glad the Tie-pilot looks great. I look forward to that one. The rest of the wave leaves me cold, though. The Clone Trooper variants are always just boring reprints, and $20 for Yoda is going to be really tough to swallow.

Call Mario. He'll get it down.:lol:

CCC.

Got some new stuff from MattyCollector, today.

First up is the penultimate quarterly figure from DC Universe Classics. It's the Connor Kent version of Superboy in his t-shirt and jeans look. It's probably the more iconic look for him, and I'm glad to have it, even if the headsculpt is kinda wonky:

I told myself I wasn't going to touch the Total Heroes line, but I have a weakness for Batman Beyond, especially when he's so stuffed to the gills with accessories:

Old Bruce head! That's one of those things that they seriously didn't have to do, but it is so awesome that they did.

I'd never seen that Nightwing before. I like the variety of interchangeable head sculpts.
