The Action Figure and Toy Collecting and Discussion Thread!

Got this Buzz for xmas for $2 :D
I'm pretty sure it's from the movie Lightyear because of his smaller eyes, more button details, and different shoulder patches.
But when did he have a bronze arm gun?

If you folks are ever in the Los Angeles area.

Come to Frank & Son Collectible Show
They have everything "Collectible" that you would ever want.
They're only open Wed / Sat / Sun.
So check the website for their hours.
It's Super Popular, but it is THE place to go for buying what you want to collect.

Also it's generally a "Cash Only" kind of place, so be prepared to haggle =D

But man, can you find all the rare stuff.

I love going there.

I'm wondering if anyone can help sleuth this one out. At the start of I think the movie Collateral the main characters kid is playing with some kind of construction set but it looks like nothing I have ever seen, very intricate with smallish parts and looks complicated and for years I've been trying to figure out if it was an actual branded toy or just made up for the movie.

Okay, this is for the other fans of Toy Shop On Tour, specifically those who've seen not just the most recent series: now, don't get me wrong, still love the show, still love Joe and the people he hangs around with, but I did miss Gav from the first couple of series. Well, he left the Leicester Vintage & Old Toys Shop a while ago to start his own toy shop. And I had not heard of him since.

And then the YouTube algorithm just tonight recommended a month-old video from a channel I wasn't familar with, but I sure knew that face in the thumbnail.
Yes, it's a tour of Gav's own toy shop, Retrodeetoys, which shows off his sensibilities that still are quite distinct from Joe's, and features a hell of a lot more plushies and weird toys:
Certainly nice to hear that croaking voice of his tell us that his shop is going nicely.

A display at a European toy fair reveals a new(ish) 3.75" Vintage Collection Landspeeder, the upcoming Alec Guinness Obi-Wan figure, a new, properly-scaled (and shinier) C-3P0 and what may well be a new release of the Sandtrooper that uses the improved Stormtrooper body first released a couple of years ago.
