The Action Figure and Toy Collecting and Discussion Thread!

I have a number of the Eaglemoss ships, including a small scale and the larger scale TOS Enterprise. They're nicely detailed and are fairly sturdy. The Romulan Bird of Prey was not so sturdy, nothing that a spot of CA glue couldn't fix, though.

Anyone else collecting the QMX 1/6th scale Star Trek TOS figures? I've got all of them so far: Kirk (plus his chair!), Spock, McCoy, Scotty, and Khan. They combine two of my favorite hobbies--12" action figures and Star Trek. I'm using my recently acquired 3D printer to make some accessories.

Astra--I've enjoyed your postings of the QMX Trek figures as well as the smaller scale figures! It's great that you take them outside and take pictures in various locations.

I was wondering if there is much crossover between the folks on this group and the 1/6th scale Trek collectors.

Thank you!
If you would like to see more of my work, here is a list of all Star Trek pictures I have done. At the moment it is also mixed 7" and 12" but I will soon have to split it as I reached the character limit at the post. Enjoy!

Is that a Facebook group? I'm not in it. I'm in the one Nanjin created, it's called Star Trek Figures Pictures Collective and is for all size of Trek figures.

If anyone is interested in what I used for the pictures above, this is what the TriForce Arkham Origins Joker Collectible Statue originally looked like before I removed Joker and table.

According to Yakface.com we're getting a 6" Black Series Yoda(Force Ghost), which will most likely be a translucent repaint of the existing 6-inch Yoda just rereleased in the Black Series Archive subline. My guess is they'll give him the Spirit Obi-Wan treatment and use translucent and transparent plastic with a ghostly paint wash and a soft goods robe in a bluish or purple color.

Another new addition- Ashlyn the Wellie Wisher!

My Mom liked dolls. One was a baby doll. When I was very young--she showed it to me and I'm sure I made some silly statement.
She had eyes that would close when her head would lean back. Somehow, I thought that was very said and started to cry. I gave the dolls to my late Mom's sister.

An early sneak peek at the upcoming Luke Skywalker(Yavin) from the Vintage Collection also gives us a look at both a slightly redesigned(and improved) cardback reverse and four upcoming Vintage Collection figures based on The Rise of Skywalker!

And now, a rant about GameStop . A few months ago, I preordered a few Marvel Legends that I were advertised by GameStop as "coming soon." When I preordered, I was told they would be available in September. I went by the store in Lufkin, where I had made my preorder, and found "Cowboy Logan" on the sales floor. I asked the cashier about the other two I had paid for in advance, the First Appearance Wolverine vs Hulk two-pack and the Big Time Spider-Man. The two-pack was listed as "in stock" in their computer system, but neither associate could find in behind the counter, on the floor, or in the back room. I was told it may have been sold. When I asked why my preorder would have been sold, I was told, "That can happen thirty days after its release." Even though I was told back in May none of the preorders would be available until September, the two-pack came out in July. And no one from the store contacted me about it coming out. Turns out the Big Time Spider-Man has been pushed to October, too. Went ahead and got the Wolverine single figure, and told 'em I would be sure to use the survey code on my receipt when I got home. Gonna be a pain in the ass to find that two-pack at a reasonable price now.
