The Action Figure and Toy Collecting and Discussion Thread!

So, I placed the final order I will ever place on Matty Collector. As soon a they ship me my stuff, out awful abusive relationship will finally be over. I hope the site dies a slow painful death now that DC Universe is over, and MOTUC is ending soon.

the only time i saw Marvel Legends Rocket Racoon was at a convention last month, and i refused to pay $45. i love the character but not that much.

The Wal-Mart in Nacogdoches only had one Rocket on the shelf, two Drax the Destroyers and three Novas. And that was on the Monday night of the midnight DVD/blu ray release.

When I picked up mine a few days later, they still had Rocket, but were down to one Nova & Drax, and a couple of Gamoras, which is why I went ahead and got her while I was at it. Only $19.99, plus tax, each.

They've never run of Star Lords or Iron Mans, which is why those two are still at the store.

And in case you don't read the fine print, this figure is 1/4 scale, as opposed to Hot Toys' usual 1/6 scale. That makes it close to a foot and a half tall.

ETA: And it's only $469.99!

Found the Black Series (3.75") repack of Darth Malgus earlier today and also picked up the Mission Series 2-pack of Boba Fett and the Stormtrooper based on The Empire Strikes Back. They're straight repacks of previous figures but this is the first time they've been packaged together.

Has there been any word if Hasbro is involved with the Jurassic World figures? I mean, while the human figures didn't really look like the actors at all (Especially the laughable Nedry figure), and there were some bizzare spin-offs such as the Dino Trackers and Chaos effect line (Not to mention the current figures not based on any of the films which are pretty crappy), I thought for the most part the Dinosaur sculpts were pretty good, if a bit limited in articulation and not 100% accurate to the screen versions (They included some Dinosaurs as well that were never in the films, or in the case of the Spinosaurus, created a figure for TLW based on what it was thought to look like at the time before he became III's big bad)

I know there will be a lego line but I'm curious what they might have in store for JW.

Hot Toys revealed some upcoming Marvel and Star Wars products at Hong Kong's Toy Soul event.

The Marvel products are mostly from the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron, including all 6 core Avengers as they appear in the movie. The two gems though are these:

And yes, the Hulkbuster lights up.

And as for Star Wars:
