The A-Team Trailer

I like it that it uses the same narration as the show's main titles (aside from the modification of first two words). And the use of the original Post/Carpenter theme, although Ramboed up for the big screen, was also a nice touch.

I'm puzzled... The A-Team was a Universal show, right? How'd it end up as a Fox movie?

Looks great!

Just realed up enough...but just insanely 80's TV fantasied up enough! :D

I love that one line Murdock had, "If you look off to the right hand side of the aircraft you will notice that the engine is on fire." :guffaw:

Not sold on so far Neeson as hannibal, Peppard was greatest, hard to replace him.

Hm. Hard to say. Liam's Hannibal didn't sell me, and there's very little to see of the characters.

I was such a huge A-Team fan as a teen that I doubt I'll be pleased with anything they come up with.

I wish it had gotten into the theme more, it kept trying but never seemed to enter full-swing. I would've liked to hear the theme kick in during the action-porn shots.

That said, I'd liked them using the narration from the series,a nd the implied theme, and, well, it looks awesome I'll be there for sure.

Trekker, not evenr eally a huge A-Team fan.

DID FACE REALLY BLOW UP A JET FIGHTER IN MID AIR WHILE ATOP A FLYING ABRAMS TANK!!!????

WIN!!!!! :guffaw:

Really, really want to see this movie now, could be pretty over-the-top good!

I used to watch the show religously as a kid, then realised just how totally silly it was. So on the one hand, I was pretty relaxed about a remake, didnt have any 'Don't rape my childhood!' feelings; on the other, I thought it was as likely to suck as to be any good. But this looked like a lot of fun. All of the actors seemed to be channeling the originals (especially Murdock) and the action scenes seemed impressive. Plus Kudos for the original intro and music.

I'd go see this on the basis of that trailer.

Stephen J. Cannell Productions was acquired by Fox in the late 1990s. Presumably Cannell, rather than Universal Television, owned the film rights to The A-Team.

Ah. Thanks.

I have the impression that was a line from the original show, but I don't know the show well enough to be sure.

Awesome! The only thing is why change "soldiers of fortune" to "soldiers for hire"?

Maybe they ran into copyright problems with Soldier of Fortune magazine?
