I hate these interperative dances. I'd rather hear the score selections with clips of the movies!

No one liked these last time they tried, and so they do it again.

So the producers of the Oscar telecast decided against Best Song performances. Instead we got interpretive dance. Can't say I care for this either.

Better still, I'd rather see the songs performed. They cut those performances for this... sigh.

I was planning to watch the show from the start but a dinner invite at my brother's place was more appealing. I got home and turned on just in time for ... the interpretative dance. Meh. I'll wait for the edited highlights!

Apparently Trek got the Best Makeup award. So at least there's one Oscar there. Nice to see Up get Best Animated Film. Part of me would love to see it pull the upset and take Best Picture, but that's just a fantasy!
