I dunno, I'm a fan of anime but I don't believe that Doctor who can really be protrayed very well through anime.

But I'll give credit where credit is due, and that is an amazing bit of anime.

Cool, mecha-Cybermen! Them throwing a car at a Dalek makes sense, especially if their weaponry is ineffective (as has been demonstrated in Doomsday, etc.).

I must admit I'm impressed, and I am an anime fan. Fittting using the Third Doctor in this short, as he's certainly the most action-oriented of the Doctors so far. The guy hasn't used Venusian karate in centuries...

I admit I'm quite fuzzy with the Doctor pre-Ecclestone (they never showed the old series in Italy), but I was surprised by the action-man angle. Was it typical of the Third Doctor?

Mecha-Cybermen were great. Oh, and fan-service aside, the girl must wear a normal outfit.

there are a couple of times when Ten could have done with using some of this Venus Karate, the 3rd Doctor is a very good choice of anime, but obviously there is alot more of the karate due to the fact its anime than its the 3rd Doctor.

Yes, the third doctor was very action oriented in many of his stories. I've heard him referred to, by many fans, as the James Bond of The Doctors.

I'll have to check this out when it's done. It may be a while. The guy who is making it states on his youtube page that he's been working on it forever.

I still hate anime though.

Yep, if there's a car chase, typically it's the third Doctor a-pursuing. The closest thing since has probably been the Tenth Doctor chasing after Donna in the TARDIS. Likewise, the Third Doctor is usually the one who'd actually beat someone up (versus the Sixth, who is probably the only Doctor who has resorted to SHOOTING things with guns and threatening to do so to people).
