the 2 dr who movies starring peter cushing as the doctor

The Cushing Doctor-and his adventures-can be put into proper perspective when you realise the original Doctor played by William Hartnell was never dscribed in the series proper as a Time Lord from, another world. So if any enterprising fans want to cnnect Cushing to Hartnell let them!

And of course, there is the Fan-splanation that the inconsistencies is because the two movies are from Barbara's Memoirs.

If so, you'd think Barbara would at least do a better job describing the Tardis, with all the time she spent in it.

To me it makes more sense that this is the interpretation from a complete outsider (or the kind of fans we saw in Love and Monsters). Like that episode of the X-Files where Gary Shandling and Tea Leoni played Mulder and Scully in a movie that got pretty much all the details wrong.

I saw both films on their original release at the cinema, just seeing large Daleks in full colour on a large screen was mind-blowing to my 5yo senses.
They were also massive events in my life when they started to appear on TV in the 1970's and today i still love to watch them from time to time. :techman:
