I have had a similar experience when watching the 5 Doctors.Nobody. It's not just a matter of being a lookalike, it's what each actor brings to the Doctor. Watching someone try to imitate Troughton or Pertwee or Baker would be painful. The Five Doctors was OK at the time, as I'd barely seen any actual Hartnell, but no I find the first Doctor in that makes it painful to watch (which is not Richard Hurndall's fault - he does the best of a misguided idea).
