Sort of. Looks more like it's just a VR world that can download your consciousness, or a copy of it. And idiots like Jaha, despite having lived his entire life in a high-tech environment, actually believes is "real." It would be totally understandable for a grounder to think that, but friggin' Jaha?
I've got a feeling that the farm station people are going to screw things up big time. Also I'm getting a Number Six vibe off of Alie...must be the red dress...
That's the best news I've heard today is only 4am but still
3.1 so oooo good. Here's my thoughts while watching.
$jasper looks good with a shaved head
-his tongue was yellow when he was singing like he ate a lozenge
-him and raven like singing about sex possible connection?
-clark got laid finally but did she wash anything but her back first?
-do they make soap?
-jaha drank the kool-aid
-dude looks like a Z that got on the train with them

-Montys mom looks like a different race. Maybe he takes after his dad.
-captain vane looking good as heck as usual
-fake tv dreads look dumb

I finally got caught up and we got some interesting new developments now.
It will be interesting to see what happens with Roan as the Ice Nation king. I'm honestly not sure right now which way he'll go in regards to Lex. With the conflict between Pike and his people, and Abby, Kane and theirs heating up I could see Roan and the Ice Nation taking a back.
I was surprised Bellamy sided with Pike, I would have expected him to be more understanding of Abby and Kane's position.
I'm loving getting to see so much more of the Grounder's society.

I'm thrilled to have Jaha in the camp and the two story lines suddenly one. It will be interesting. They certainly pack a lot into each episode. Also still a little amazed that people suffer actual ptsd and don't recover two episodes from all the stuff that is happening.

I too was not thrilled with Bellamy's sudden turn. But showrunner Jason Rothenberg made some valid points in explaining why Bell- and a whopping majority of Arkadia, have chosen to act the way they have.

I'm still not happy over what I'm seeing. Perhaps if Pike hadn't just appeared out of nowhere and a bit more time was spent showing how the Arkers dealt with Lexa's betrayal, accepting Mt Weather's deal to abandon them in exchange for the Grounder prisoners release, it wouldn't feel as if they were acting so....stupidly. And there was literally no push back over how stupid a plan it was to kill the Grounder peace keeping force from anyone other than Abbey, Marcus, Lincoln, and Octavia.
This is the only weakness for me, in an otherwise solid 5 episode block.

I'm still enjoying it a lot, but I do have to agree with you. It just seems weird after everything they went through with them last season that the majority of Arkadians would be so quick to turn on the Grounders. I know the Grounders betrayed them in the end, but they did work together quite a bit before that, and seemed to become a lot more accepting of them.I think all of this might have worked better if Pike had a grouper closer in size to Arkadia, and we then got a conflict between his anti-Grounder group and the pro-Grounder Arkadians.
I love that the show actually deals with how things effect the character's, like Raven's leg for example. It seems like a lot of shows, especially older shows, would have just given us an episode or two of her dealing with the injury, and then would have just had her go completely back to normal after a while.
Yep it is a real strong point. And it looks like sobby drinky guy is not coming back from his big girlfriend melted loss. He may actually have no redemption which would be unusual for tv. But who knows.
They're really getting their Battlestar on this season: they have a head Six character and now a lost 13th colony ark station.
Tonight's episode should be very interesting. According to an interview IGN did with creator/showrunner Jason Rothenberg we'll be getting flashbacks to what happened 97 years ago. It's supposed to show the origins of the Arc, and deal with the early days of the AIs.
Huh. Looking fwd to that.
The last ep was interesting, Pike is quite the colonialist. Oh look these primitive grounders have cleared the forest for their villages, lets kill 'em all and plant crops.

I don't quite understand why the Arc did what it did, especially given its goal to preserve humanity. Nor do I quite understand why, if all the Commanders are really Ally 2.0, that they still seem to be incredibly ignorant about technology.
Also, is it just me, or are they completely rewriting the Grounders this season? First, Lexa is supposed to be this huge deal because she united all the clans. Now, it's apparently their standard operating procedure, and a long line of them have been carrying on Ally 2.0 for nearly 100 years, complete with Polis having always been their effective capital.
It just doesn't seem to mesh with what we knew of them in the first season. LIke, at all.

We haven't seen any indication of Lexa actually talking to or seeing any kind of AI, so I'm wondering if it's possibly just storing memories or something, rather than the second AI program.
