That which cannot be explained

Guinan's cat claws at Q. Q coming right out and saying she wasn't what she appeared. Was that the nature of El-Aurians, or was she some kind of other omnipotent-type alien in disguise? I mean, it would take a lot of nerve or stupidity to attack Q - Guinan & Sisko the only ones who ever did, not counting the Voyager crew armed with Q weaponry in The Q and the Gray.

Not a violation, but an open question:
Whatever happened to...

-The aliens from Conspiracy.
-The alien boy Riker befriended.
-Tin Man

They never did get around to explaining exactly why Guinan was a quasi-supernatural type entity,, or whatever she was..

There was a line in the Generations film that Picards says; something about since her time in the "Nexus" she somehow can feel the universe and sense when things aren't right...or something like that.

Why is Troi the only Betazoid who speaks with an accent?
Neither of her parents have that accent, no other on-screen Betazoids either.

Well, there's no reason everyone in the family has to have the same accent. Accents depend on where you came from and where you live. In my family, for example: My mother grew up in The Bronx, but merged that accent with a New Jersey accent from living here for 60 years. Her father was from Brooklyn and never lost that (annoying) accent. Her mother was from Scotland! And while Gram's brogue attenuated over the decades, her father (my g-g-grandfather) had the full Scots accent until he died. I have a typical Jersey accent (I guess), having lived here all my life. My sister moved to South Carolina 20 years ago and has picked up that accent, but mildly. Her kids however, all sound like they're extras in a Dukes of Hazard episode.

Ok, that's neat and stuff, but the subject has kind of already been tackled (note earlier posts)... but thanks.
I guess to me it's "TV show" weird, ok?

The unexplainable...

The timeline for first contact with the Borg. You cannot explain it without twisting history into a knot.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a - ah never mind.

Though this was never said, I'm inclined to think that Guinan is actually not an El-Aurian, as she came from a species that was consumed by the Borg over 600 years prior, while the Federation knew what the Borg had done to the El-Aurians from personal observation. Meaning they had seen what had been done to the El-Aurians, and were able to compare that to what the Borg do once they became aware of the existence of the Borg. I also got the impression that Guinan is over 1000 years old.
