This was what Q told Picard at the end of the TNG series finale "All Good Things..." When Picard asked Q what he meant by that, Q replied by telling Picard that he will find out one day.

Well, the TNG movies never really got into that with perhaps the slight exception of Generations with the whole Nexus thing, but even then it was very little. Do you think sometime in the Picard series we will finally see what Q was talking about?'

And what do you think Q meant by that?

I sincerely hope this is addressed in the show. I do think Generations was a part of what Q meant but probably not all of it. "Organic androids" definitely feels like it fits in here too. Also can't forget the Q were a bit in fear of Humanity progressing past them, to a higher form.... that might be a part of what Q was talking about as well.

Whether intended or not, PIC probably will meet that goal with the synthetic life focus. Perhaps better if unintended - forced "fulfilling of prophecies" always feels exactly that in serial television.

Q was especially fond of Data since "Deja Q", as he was actually the only one who didn't hold any grudges against him or treated him with disdain when he lost his powers in that episode.

I actually think Q considered Data as a friend since that time. And he may have searched for a way to bring him back without breaking the rules of the continuum, hence the dreams. He is trying to influence Jean Luc with them to act in a way that may end up in Data's return

Maybe he already knew Data's fate during AGT and considered telling Picard about it but decided against it.

Remember Q about to whisper something in Jean Luc's ear, only to stop himself...
