That cake is so tempting

Did they ever turn up, Miss Chicken?

No, and no phone call explaining why they didn't turn up . This is the second time they have done this to me this year. I know that they were going to visit another friend before me so maybe they forgot about me.

I had two pieces of cake and then I started to feel a little sick.

I am sorry Miss Chicken. That is so inconsiderate. I would probably tell them not to call ahead anymore, and to just turn up and take their chances... that way they don't make you waste your time and resources preparing for them. All the more for you and your other son though.

2) Place cake on floor
3) Belly-flop onto said cake
4) Remember to close the blinds next time
5) Go shower off and clean up the mess on the floor

Not me, but I'm a HUGE Jonathan Coulton fan, so I know the song and its history. And thanks to this thread, I'm now listening to the dulcet tones of GlaDOS assuring me that the cake is so delicious and moist....

ETA: I'm also struggling to resist the cake mix in my pantry calling, "Yoo-hoo!"
