Terraforming Mars and Hell on Earth

Mars has enough frozen water to cover the surface of Mars in 120 feet of water, approx.

The problem isn't water, well yes the problem is water, too much maybe.

Something in the past of Mars allowed more heat and pressure to escape the core then was kept at the core.

Maybe large underground caves allowed to much excess heat and pressure to escape to the surface that would have been needed to keep the core under a constant force of material escaping and returning to the core.

The core of any planet acts likes a pressure cooker. The pressure of the core, including the gases and material at the core, must be under the correct amount of pressure to cause the surface of the shell of the core to constantly condense, just like the water does on the glass lid of the pressure cooker.

The water in this case would be liquid core material that never solidifies but reduces the core material slightly as it condenses on the shell around the core. The material then drips back down into the core adding more material that keeps the core constantly expanding and deflating slightly.

Core material must also find its way to the surface of the planet to further impact the core expanding and deflating, just like a tea pot releases steam when the pressure has built up inside. When the pressure in the tea pot/ planetary core subsides the whistle goes away. The same must happen with the core of Mars.

Whatever happened on Mars allowed the pressure and gases of the core to suddenly escape and was never capped off or maybe was capped off after the rupture took place.
Finding the ruptures that led to the core of Mars suddenly cooling off and closing them and causing material to fall back into the core of Mars so that pressure, gases and shell material build up is the key to restarting and keeping the core of Mars active enough to maintain an EM / Magnetic field similar to Earth.

Perhaps there might be too much water on Mars that is underground that caused the lower layers of Mars to remain cooler and not fracture due to heat and pressure.
Heat and pressure that would have built up and traveled along the path of least resistance to the surface of Mars in one cataclysmic eruption.

From numerous myths that I have read, the myths are always talking about keeping the gates to 'Hell', closed. I think the keeping the gates to Hell closed is in reference to keeping the gates to a planets core closed so that the pressure and heat do not escape. Because what happens when the heat and pressure escape from the core in a large singular event?

Hell on Earth happens as the core goes cold and all life is extinguished on the surface of the planet.

If you can find the largest number of fractures to the core of Mars, then you should be able to determine where the pressure and heat escaped Mars that caused the core to cool down.

I am of the firm belief that if the ice water that is theoretically causing the problem is sublimated, then hot gases and core liquid from the core of Mars could escape to the surface of Mars without first cooling down.

I think the core of Mars is like an igloo, the layers of the shell around the cores shell is cold and frozen with ice water, that the core melts the water but is not hot enough to sublimate the ice water to the surface of Mars, thus keeping the core of Mars cool enough to not create an environment on Earth like the core of Earth has.

The shell of the core around Mars might break and fall into the core causing it to expand and release material, but when the material is frozen ice water and not metals or minerals what happens?

All that is released is steam that cools and freezes and recycles into the core of Mars instead of metals and minerals which would be needed to keep the core hot and active.

OOooh 120 feet of water? On an uneven surface with a thin atmosphere?

What a worthless number. Can it even fill the Northern Basin? The Datum on Mars is what - 2, 3 kilometers to the 'old' shoreline? More? What's stopping it from being frozen again; what's going to keep that puddle of water in place?

You want to Terraform Mars, you need to import an atmosphere and warm up the planet to have a half-arsed one to keep the water in place. We're talking centuries, at best decades, of massive presence beyond the snowline to redirect comets and doing who-knows-what on Mars to cook it.
