Which upcoming summer flick are you more excited about?

Transformers 2, although I'm excited about Terminator 4 as well. They're probably the only 2009 movies that I'm excited about.

I will go with Transformers for now, just because I know exactly what to expect, so I will not be disappointed. With Terminator, they are trying to make it new again, and I hope Bale can pull it off... but who knows..

i'm excited about both, but the appearances of Sideswipe, Ravage and Soundwave tip TF over the edge for me.

i'm most excited about Wolverine and GI Joe, though...

Terminator. I won't even see Transformers 2 at the theater, or even rent it. Bay will be lucky if I ever get around to downloading that thing as a torrent.

I've seen what Bay's idea is for transformers. Sassy robots that hide in backyards, while that fruit Shia does his nervous wisecracking act...throw in some random bad cliches from Jon Voigt and a bewildering performance from the great John Tuturro and you're set. No thanks.

I'm the same, Bay's first movie was FAR from perfect, but I had a great time, and maybe this one will be better, at the very least the action will be insane. I'm struggling to care about Terminator at all. I love the TV show too much, the continuity is going to bug the hell out of me (although I'll still see it at the cinema, because I tend to go see anything that interests me even a little).

"Transformers" edges out "Terminator" for me, but not by much. I'm a bigger TF fan than Terminator fan, but I've wanted a "future war" movie since the 90's! What is encouraging to me (from what I've learned thus far) is that "Transformers: ROTF" will have more of an actual story than just being the intro of characters and Megatron returning. Plus it'll have lotsa purty new 'bots.
