It's too bad it's not running next week. I think their biggest competitor right now is Monday Night Football on ESPN. Next week is weak match-up so, theoretically, a good night to go up against MNF, alas, Terminator and Prison Break are not on next week due to baseball playoffs.

does anyone else think that after this dodge BS is up that that fancy ram is gonna blown up in a spectacular fashion?

Not so long as Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep continues to help finance the show.

Unless the 2010 is a different model though. That Wrangler Unlimited got blown up for the Liberty/Ram to take its place.

Cameron will ram the next Terminator of the week with the Dodge Ram. When she steps out the Ram it will be pristine.

Sarah Connor Chronicles - 5.61 million & 2.3/6

That's really terrible ratings. There is no way the show will survive with ratings that low. :(

unless we can kill Dancing with the stars, i'm still going WTF on that, how the hell does Dancing with the fucking stars get 5x the ratings as terminator?

People like crap. Why else has reality TV fared so well this past decade?

because it costs about 1/100th the ammount as it does to film a series

It would be interesting to me for either this show, or the upcoming Terminator: Salvation film to explore two things that have been left unexplored about this franchise:

1. What would the machines do if they wiped out humanity?

2. Explore why Skynet felt that it needed to destroy humanity completely, thus triggering 'judgement day'. In the past it was pretty much only mentioned in passing, saying something to the effect of 'it felt threatened'. That seems pretty vague to me.

Anyone else spot the reference to the T1 deleted scene? Not that's what I call doing your homework. Nice to know the writers give a crap about the franchise.

Which deleted scene?

EDIT: Sorry about the double post...

There is a scene in T1 that was cut with Kyle breaking down and almost killing Sarah. She wants to go after Cyberdyne (this deleted scene inspired the plot of T2) but Kyle says it's too dangerous. She tries to run from him and he chases her with them fighting. He points the gun at her and regains his senses. He sees a deer and the beautiful forest that they're in and breaks down from all of it saying he was never meant for this world. Sarah convinces him that they need to fight.

Actually I did mention it way back when the episode aired. The producer (he posts to TerminatorFiles) said they watch the films regularly to try to keep things in perspective.

Did anyone notice the Kill Bill reference in the promo for next weeks episode?

While not on screen there is a comic book that deals with this and its in T3: The Redemption. When Humanity is defeated Skynet begins to Terraform the Earth so that nothing can ever live on it but machines (think the industrial complex shown at the end of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones). It was then going to build transports and begin invading other worlds.

In the EU of Terminator Skynet felt humanity was a threat to its survival because the United States Military felt it had too much power and circumvented military authority.

Unfortunately I have to concur. I'm hoping though that online viewing will be taken into account (Fox has said earlier they are looking at online viewing as well). So many people were watching Terminator on Fox On Demand today that it overloaded that server.

I hate it going up against Chuck. I love Chuck. I need to get a TiVo. This week this show won out. Last week, Chuck. Argh!!!

I didn't know about the deleted scene. Thanks for sharing.

same thing happened in Robocop Vs. Terminator the last human on earth was a 10 year old boy

I remember that. I liked the Dog Terminator getting stomped by a T-Rex the most from that (no that is not a lie).

^ I remember.

I also remember Robo telling the two ED-209's guarding the hospital to fire on any artificial intelligences they detected and they shoot each other.
