Tenth Doctor's possible return?

Will they ever have an episode somewhere in the future that would bring back the Tenth Doctor and have him and the Eleventh spend time together like the old Doctor Who used to do with some of the Doctors there? Imagine the scenes between them with the Tenth having some criticisms about his new self and the Eleventh feeling like he is being judged by his father. Amy and Rory would be uncomfortably stuck in between the conflicting Doctors while contrasting and comparing the two men.

Nine is Pretty unlikely at this point, but, even Tom Baker (#4) regrets missing The Five Doctors now, and is doing Audio Plays finally, so, you never know.

At least 2 of the 3 Multi-Doctor episodes were Anniversary Specials, and Doctor Who turns 50 in 2013 (November 19, I believe?), so, there's a fair possibility Sylvester McCoy (#7), Paul McGann(#8), and David Tennant (#10), and maybe even Peter Davison (#5) all could make a return to Doctor Who TV in 2013.

#6 and #4 have changed considerably as they've aged, so it may be difficult to work them in, since they haven't been seen on Doctor Who for all these years.

#1 - 3 have all passed away (Including the Stand-in #1 played by Richard Hurndall in The Five Doctors, I believe)

#9 has mentioned many times he's not receptive to coming back, implying under any circumstances (he may give in, in a year, or maybe not for 55 years, it took Tom Baker a good long while)

I just finished season 3 and am about to watch Voyage of the Damned, so I dont know yet if The Master returns or not but could The Master return (possibly again) in the form of Tennant? Maybe Eccleston? I saw a hand grab his ring so I'm assuming he comes back if he hasn't already.

As has been stated, Eccleston isn't interested in returning, as of right now.

MAYBE for an anniversary he could be convinced, but, as the Master or some other contrivance? Not. A. Chance.

Sindatur: Sorry, I mean Eleventh, not Ninth in the main post. Just basically an episode involving Matt Smith and David Tennant. Not the guy who played the Ninth Doctor, though that might be interesting.

I seem to remember an interview around the time when The End of Time aired where Tennant said he's looking forward to returning in the 50th anniversary.

Personally, I say they should just hold off on bringing back any previous Doctors until then.

I'm somewhat new to Doctor Who (working my way through the first season though I have caught bits and pieces of some of the Tennant eps and saw a preview of the fifth season) but I was under the impression that when the doctor "dies" and regenerates, he changes his physical appearance but is the same basic entity. Is that or is that not the case? How could there be multiple doctors existing together if they're all the same person? Educate me (without spoiling the series too much) please? Thanks!

He essentially becomes a whole new person (appearance and personality traits), just with a shared history, background, and memory.

Well, it's a show about time-travel, after all. Due to the obvious lack of gimmickry, they rarely have the Doctor encounter himself from the past when he's in the same regeneration. Which is not to say that multi-Doctor stories are common, they're just more common than multi-single-Doctor stories.

That was confusingly stated.

Gotcha (I think). Yeah, I guess I could see how he might run into "himself" in an earlier incarnation. Duh. Thanks!:techman:

Maybe they could work the Bakers in by having them play other characters, similar to how they did Zagreus?

Why would Eleven feel that way? More likely he'd feel like he was being judged by a loud mouthed, less experienced punk.

It's 23rd November to be accurate, which happens to be a Saturday in 2013. I sense a Doctor Who Theme night might be in the works.
