Ten things you'll never hear a football fan say

"Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson are the most humble, down to earth players in the history of the NFL."

"I love it when NU plays Colorado. Colorado fans treat us so well over there."

those red shirts just work Ralphie up and are a convenient snow ball target.

"John Elway, Roger Staubach, Joe Montana, Joe Namath, and Johnny Unitas ... should be ashamed to hear their names mentioned in the same breath as ... Jake Plummer."

fixed that for you to glean out the truth in the statement ;)

"Dammit, why doesn't Al take CHARGE of this team?"

One of the 10 things you'll never hear a Raiders assistant coach say to the head coach:

"Al says run whatever you want".

I love Jessica Simpson. People really give that poor girl too much trouble. What harm is there in a little trip to Mexico before the Playoffs?

"Eh... Tom Brady is okay, but I really want to see what Matt Cassel can do."

Hey at least Pats fans have gotten over the Superbowl hangover. Now we have the Brady hangover instead. And of course this is the year I have tickets to a game.

You ever notice how no one gets hurt for the season in week 2 or 3. It's always sometime in week 1. Every year, a couple of key players blow of their (insert body part here) and are done for the year.

Anyway, back on topic...

"I hope we get 3 more offseasons of Brett Favre will he or won't he retire drama. It's so compelling and never gets old!"

It wasn't aimed at the Pats in specific. It could've just as easily been Peyton Manning/Jim Sorgi. But since Brady went down at around that time, he was more topical. :p

"Please welcome the Super Bowl Champion Arizona Cardinals"

Watch it, pal. :p

Right now, we'll settle for "NFC West Champion Arizona Cardinals" ... and that will become a reality later this year. :techman:

Oh, and ... "Go Cardinals!"

"It was a tough loss to Denver but we just got outplayed. The refs certainly had nothing to do with the outcome." --Norv Turner

"I know our kicker missed a pair of 22-yard field goals, but I don't blame him for the loss: If the offense had put the ball in the end zone we wouldn't have been in that position."
