I bought Halloween candy but wasn’t sure what to expect. I put it in a bowl with a bottle of hand sanitizer on a little table on our sidewalk (we’re on a corner) and less than half of it was taken by the time it was dark. I could tell the volume of kids was waaaaay down.Just wondering if anyone out there is going to be taking there kids trick or treating? Or having them dress up in costumes? We went to some stores the other day, and there is always a ton of costumes and candy out. But there wasn't really any for adults. And the candy is not selling. Kind of sad really. I understand the COVID-19 is up in our area. But wondering if anyone else out there is able to do anything? I did some COVID-19 Pumpkins with masks this year. My husband and I are still dressing up for Halloween. Going to a friends house. But that is all. We had planned on a Star Trek Halloween party, but not this year, maybe next year. The mini dress will just have to wait!

Yea it certainly seems to be that way.these weeks get longer all the time. And weekends keep getting shorter. The climate change appears to result in a time change as well.
I’m glad to hear that. I took our leftover candy to the office because I didn’t want it in the house! Our volume seemed to be up. I wasn't sure how things were going to go: there seem to be more kids when it falls on a weekend, but of course this year had the pandemic thrown into the mix. I bought more candy than usual, just in case, and it turned out to be a good thing I did. We had very little left over.
