I have forgot to mention that I have returned to the board a few weeks ago. I'm also at The Omega Sector BBS board I rarely go there anymore. The activity there is slow.

it seems somewhat quieter here than I remember. But then messageboards in general seem to have lower traffic than they did in the early days of the internet now that everybody is on 'anti-social media', Facebook etc

Indeed. It is somewhat more quiet...bit there's still lively discussion in various forums. You can also change the display options-- pick either gray or blue. T'Bonz is still very much in charge, so watch it.

I've gone for 'Old Gray' - that's how I remember Trekbbs. 'Big Blue' is too garish

For New Blue, the lightest shade would be the background of where your avatar is on the left. The higher contrast would be better for me. The default theme is too white and Big Blue is too blue.
