Ten Forward Lounge - Miscellaneous General Chat & Welcome Thread

Now that I think about it more, it seems more likely that Eris was the only one who had that power, and the only reason she was given it was because it was necessary for her cover identity as a prisoner.

That's possible. The Founders could have specially engineered her powers just so they could use her to infiltrate the Dominion's enemies and gather intelligence on them.

So I noticed yesterday watching the "detained" episode of ENT that one of the silubians in the camp had familiar eyes. It took me all night to realize where I'd seen them. They were Murphy's eyes, off z nation. So I watched an episode to see and I'm positive. Keith Allen played a silubian in one episode.
This is way more exciting to me than it should be.

Oh, what kind of worthless people
Can fill the 'verse with gloom?
And run off to Future Guy because their race is doomed.

The Suliban...The Suliban can.

The Suliban can, 'cause they fill the ship with fear
And make Jon Archer sad.

Hi! I hope you're enjoying yourself in the forums. Just ask if you have any questions. :)

welcome :) I hope neither of you has a fear of spiders? My avatar (eyes of a jumping spider) is just a temporary affair till I can remember where I stored my old one with the rhubarb.
Oh, and greetings from Bavaria! *waves at 47of74*

^Depends on the person. Do they like Shakespeare or shows with long story arcs? Start with Deep Space Nine. Do they like bottle episodes or shows with a team working together? Start with TNG. Do they watch a lot shows on the CW? Enterprise. ;)

I fell out of Enterprise and I used to like CW shows.

It sounds like I should watch more CW shows because I went back to finish Enterprise and enjoyed it.

And a welcome @Kittybandit.

I have a love/hate relationship with Enterprise. I loved some of the characters (TRIP!) but really disliked the lazy, uneven writing--last two seasons were really enjoyable, though. Well, except for that last episode whose name shall not be spoken.......:shifty:

I'm leaning towards ds9. He's a huge BSG fan, so I told him if he wants to rewatch BSG again, he should watch DS9. He doesn't watch any CW shows at all.

He does like twilight zone, so I figured he might like TOS as well. I know he doesn't like VOY. I just finished the series. I feel he did suffered when I watched them and it's background noise for him when he's on the computer. I just have ENT left, so I might do that on my own time.

Good idea. If he liked BSG, he would probably like DS9 more than the others...I'm assuming, anyway.
