Good Lord. Funeral planning is WAY more complicated than I thought. There's just so much to do. Glad to have time to just sit. This is one of those times when I really wish I had a working transporter. Anyone have a spare one handy?

Yeah, even my Mom's "simple" cremation and funeral was an ordeal.

^Thanks. Finally got an easy day today--got everything done in about 3 or 4 hours. Drove Mom around on errands--doctor's office, grocery store, lunch (can't let her blood sugar get low), funeral home, hair cut place and then home.
Just get to sit and relax for the rest of the day, thank God.

Fall has arrived; I've seen yellow leaves on the trees across the parking lot from my apartment.
And there's been a federal election going on here in Canada for several weeks already. Voting day is October 19, and it will be a relief when it's all over.
Yep, all the signs are here; I have been washing comforters (mine and the cat's), dusting and vacuuming, occasionally worn long trousers, contemplating washing the windows, taking down solar powered lights in the yard (when the day only affords enough sunlight to have them light up for twenty minutes it's time for that!) and am thinking about cooking soup and carrying the yard-furniture back down into the cellar... All signs that something's wrong and that my subconscious mind is reacting to it!
4th day of my head cold.. How long do these things go for? I mean what's the longest anyone here has had one?
Yesterday was the worst though, heavy coughing and I had a headache by the end of the day. Feeling much better today though, and the coughing has mostly died down. But to me 4 days seems like forever.
