And Roy quietly sang along. On one hand it feels like a little to much in that season 3 kind of way but on the other hand I love "The Sound of Music" and that might be my favorite song in the movie. So on it's own right it was still fun to watch.
By the way, I don't think this has been mentioned, but the single best moment in the finale? "Offsides." And Sudeikis underplays it like a genius.
I thought the series final was pretty good. No big surprises but it was a nice emotional farewell. Speaking of which I do have mixed feelings about the "Sound of Music" song. It kind of reminds of a moment in "Goodbye Micheal" from "The Office" that was kind of the same and I felt was to much and that was when everyone in conference room sang "9,986,000 minutes" to him on his final day of work.
OpsOOOkay.

Yes. It also ties into him doing the same thing to Let It Go.It ties into the earlier episode about Julie Andrews and their favourite characters and Roy's favourite Andrews' character being Maria
Rupert was redeemed a little in the episode where Rebecca got the guys to turn down the super-league. You could see there the boy he had been who originally just loved the game. But he *chose* to put winning over everything else. People have to choose to be redeemable.I wonder if was a mistake to not Redeem Rupert on some level. I mean everyone else ended up getting redeemed. Even Jamie's asshole dad , whose abusive behavior contributed to one of the shows most powerful and memorable scenes. We see he has decided to get help for his alcohol addiction.
Have those come up recently?but then the baddie still is eaten by a shark / is beheaded
