Come, come, Mr. Scott. Young minds, fresh ideas. Be tolerant.
But Star Trek has done PLENTY of episodes that stood out as not looking very "Star Trek."If someone had never seen a single episode of Star Trek in their life looked at the screen they'd think 'oh, that must be Star Trek'.

A fairytale episode, animated crossover episode, and musical episode don't count as taking chances?I do miss when Star Trek used to take chances. A lot of times they didn't hit, but, they were a lot of fun.

I just took shots from episodes that if someone were to randomly turn on their TV and had never seen an episode of Star Trek, wouldn't be able to immediately identify as being from Star Trek. Those photos are just from individual episodes and not indicative of what someone who had never seen the show would assume to be what the show was about.
Yeah, but they didn't make a spin-off called Star Trek: Carbon Creek! Those were just chapters of some very Star Trek shows. But Star Trek has done PLENTY of episodes that stood out as not looking very "Star Trek."

??? What does this even mean? Why do they keep trying to make Star Trek for people who don't like Star Trek?

We have one already, SNW.I feel like there should be a proper Star Trek series in the mix as well
They had no scenes together. Ransom was on the Cerritos in the 24th Century. Una was on the Enterprise in the 23rd.(even if it was the means to give Jerry O'Connell the opportunity to share the same stage with his RL wife, Rebecca Romijn
You missed a lot of great episodes.I dropped out after the Aliens and "Balance of Terror" episodes.
So, Strange New Worlds. If someone had never seen a single episode of Star Trek in their life looked at the screen they'd think 'oh, that must be Star Trek'.
