Tasha Yar Death Swop ?

Nero's Shadow

Captain
Captain
Ok I was watching the episode skin of evil the other night and it got me thinking instead of tasha yar getting killed which other crew member would you pick and why .? :klingon::evil::scream:

oooh. if tasha never died, she'd meet the daughter she never had after the Yesterday's enterprise-alternate tasha went back in time!

swap picard to die. just cos no one would pick him.

^no since guinan wouldn't have told the alternate Tasha she was supposed to be dead. So she wouldn't have gone with the E-C...

I would not have minded so much if they had killed off Worf instead. I never really warmed up to the character and we would have been spared a lot of Klingon Honour Nonsense™ if he had died.

Don't get me wrong, I like Michael Dorn and Worf had some interesting stories and funny lines of dialog. But Worf brought the whole honour bullshit to the series, which I never really liked.

I'd swap out for Wesley Crusher. He might be a prodigy and all that and he might be really intelligent, which I would respect, but he certainly doesn't have the idiosyncrasies, the priorities, or the mannerisms of a prodigy, or any type of kid wonder, really.

Otherwise, really, just throw some random ensign in. Makes no sense to send a bridge crew down to a dangerous/risky non-diplomatic-mission planet anyway.

I liked worf his story,s were very good and I think without him the next gen would be quite bland. Klingon in starfleet was a great idea. And if it was not for worf storys we would have not had season 4 cliffhanger or a season 5 ?

^^^I agree. All of Worf's Klingon Honour nonsense got real old, real quick.

I agree.

He could also take that stupid old joke with Worf where he'd say something like : "It would be.........uncomfortable"
That shit got old fast too. Funny once kind of thing.

I find I actually respected most of Klingon culture, just not Worf. He was too stoic for my tastes. [see A Matter Of Honor and both parts of Redemption]

My timelines might be off, but, given she was around, I'd off Dr. Pulaski instead.

Keiko O'Brien.

And instead of being killed, she marooned with sticky black dude ...

And she bitches and whines and complains and argues and ...

A few weeks later Armus commits suicide.

:)
