TAS music is available here.
I wonder where they sourced the tracks? From the episodes themselves or did Filmation turn over all elements to Paramount Television after production and separate music tracks exist..

There's a BBS member who works with Lalaland and would probably know the answer. I think he goes by the name Indysolo.
Regarding the missing Secret of Vulcan Fury episodes, the guy who is doing Beyond Antares says that he has an early version of it. He also claims to have 22 mini episodes that the original cast did in the 1970s that were released as story records(with different voice actors).
You think he means the Power Records stories? There were only 11 of those ever released, although that does come out to 22 if you break them down into Side A and Side B. But I've communicated with Alan Dean Foster, who wrote the majority of them, and he spoke as though he wrote them under direct contract with Peter Pan Records, so I can't imagine they were a remake of anything done earlier with the original cast.He also claims to have 22 mini episodes that the original cast did in the 1970s that were released as story records(with different voice actors).
Completely agree with you. I have followed the comments that have been made on the Beyond Antares comments section. Mr. England is on there quite a bit and talks to people and he does not take criticism very well. I think his work has been really good. I certainly could not do what he has done. Yet, he gets very defensive when somebody criticizes the animation. I think that his strength is in the audio portion of the story. The animation is just a bit off. I prefer the original TAS. I have hesitated to be critical of him, because I do not like to be critical of people. I think he has admitted it too, that he really needs somebody else to work with him on this. Certainly, somebody who is a good public relations person.I'm not sure if I believe the Antares guy. Many wonder where the Secret of Vulcan Fury dialogue has gone, he claims to have 1000s of lines extracted from the games and can make any sentence! I suggested he have a way for a third party to acceas his work, however he declined saying it' HIS project, which is a pity. I've spoken to him privately and sadly he seems difficult if you say something he doesn't agree with.
The 25th Anniversary, Judgement Rites and indeed SOVF to me are very very important due to being (a) the last performances of all seven cast members together in a story (b) the game format is old but still playable, but as a non-gamer these stories are so so rare and should be brought to life. i'm grateful to these 'TAS Continues' efforts that are now starting
I've said it before, Secret of Vulcan Fury for me is THE holy grail of Star Trek. It was due 20 years ago thsi year. I'd love for all the audio to be found and put together (even though DeForest was replaced by Maurice LaMarche) To think there is a whole massive epic story OUT THERE over fifty years later with Shatner as Kirk, Nimoy as Spock, Doohan as Scotty etc tht no one has heard is so tantalising!! Fans deserve it.
Yes, I believe he was talking about the Power Records stories. I knew that only 11 stories were done from 1975-79. I can see that Foster would have wrote the stories and the original cast could have done them. This was at the time that Foster was doing the TAS novelizations. So the stories have a TAS quality to them. One thing I remember that was said on the Beyond Antares comments section by Mr. England was that the original actor played Harry Mudd in one of these stories. I have listened to all 11 stories and there is one story where one of the characters is very Mudd like. So I think it is possible that the stories could have been rewritten after the original cast was replaced. Who knows? I certainly don't. I am just a big fan of Star Trek who would love to see more original adventures get done with the original crew. That is why I am so excited to see TAS Continues get going. I do know in reality that the computer games 25th anniversary and Judgment Rites are available to do as animated episodes. That would be 15 more animated Star Trek episodes to watch. I wish them well in this project and look forward to its completion. You think he means the Power Records stories? I am sure you are right. Just wishful thinking on my part.Power Records had its own stable of voice actors that were used for everything - Star Trek, Six Million Dollar Man, Spider-Man, whatever, same voices. There's no way a script written expressly for them was going to be done by the original cast at any point.
That's outstanding.Forget using computer game voices, just use really good impressionists such as Jaime Sanchez!
