Am I the only one that really liked the Alec Baldwin movie?

It was a decent attempt, except for the beginning and the end.

On topic, my recollection is that QT has said that if he were to do a superhero/ comic movie it would have to be an original one. If he did an adaptation, he'd tinker around with the source material too much for fanboy tastes.

If he's not going to respect the source material, then somebody else should do it. That's why most adaptations and reboots suck: Hollywood hacks who say, "This is great-- let's change it."
