BBC America realy are going all out with the promotion for the series. In fact there's probably been more in the US this year than the UK.

Trying to break Doctor Who out of the niche genre ghetto, I suppose. Though I doubt that Doctor Who will ever become "family viewing" over here in the sense that it is in the UK, Who could possibly surpass the 70s/80s-era Tom Baker near-mainstream cult status peak that the series had.

So long as Moffat doesn't try to replicate Peri after Amy and Rory depart to make the series more American, I think we'll be okay.

It's not a BBC America promotion thing it's just a guy with a computer. The guy who did it came clean about it on Gallifrey Base yesterday.

That's a shame.

On the other hand it does make me smile thinking about the people on that Site who shouted me down when I said the photo of the TARDIS on the WB backlot which appeared a while back was a fake.

If they can replicate Peri, I'll take one.............no wait, two!

A whole roomful of them, doing unspeakable things to each other

Ugh.

If It really was there then how come no one in is actually looking at it? How come all the people in the pictures are looking at and taking photos of the ground it's sitting on and not it? Why is no one actually touching? Where's the obligatory fan dressed as the Doctor (usually Tom Baker)?

Um. I think he was joking.
