Talking crap... I love it!

Having just come from a very long lunch where I was left with people I didn't really know ~ friends of a friend of a friend etc but I was there and they were buying... So after a few too many pints of chocolate and vanilla ale I realised I was talking complete and utter crap about everything and nothing and getting away with it!
I swear it to be true, if you put on a serious face, hold your pint in your hand and nod a lot ~ people will believe everything you say:lol:
I am either a genious or slightly 'over-lunched' :guffaw:
So what's your biggest 'blag' in a social situation?

"Lying is a skill like any other and if you want to maintain a level of excellence, you have to practice constantly."
- A questionable quote to live by ;)

The biggest sheer lie ever told was going out after an audition. I was in 'audition clothes' which was far from my style at the time.

I met up with a friend to pick up women and he decided to tell them I was an actor in Hollyoaks, that I was taking a break from filming my first few weeks of scenes and would be on TV soon.

It was possibly the worst lie we had ever told and the fact it was so easily swallowed was... astonishing. I don't have a face (or a figure) that belongs in Hollyoaks. It's like casting Danny deVito as Drake Ramore.

Professionally I lie all the time - when the shows over I don't switch from buy guy to reasonably nice guy. I have an entirely different personality, different history, different everything.

The collection of bullshit that makes up my fictional backstory includes private schooling, some time in the Air Force, being independantly wealthy, produced and starred in several porn movies including 'Batman and Throbin' and 'James Bummed...' not being British, being anyting from my real age to32 and craploads more. I've been in relationships and have very close friendships where they don't even know my real name. It took four years for my partner to ask me what it was and he was terrified I'd be insulted.

I don't even need glasses. The selection I have are all props. Collegues believing it all enhances credibility. Especially as they can never keep a secret and a few will spill any gossip to fans to get more love and attention.
