Take out Picard and insert Sisko in Chain of Command

Similarities or differences in what would have taken place during the torture/overall plot.

Probably not THAT different. But I'd think Sisko loses his temper easier. So in many situations he might not have been so kind and calm towards Madred like Picard was.

BTW, the more I think about it, "Chain Of Command" may be the most DS9-ish episode of TNG. Maybe that's why I like it so much. :D

Yeah its one of those anti-feel good shows, gritty and tough. It coulda easily been a DS9 show. Too bad, TNG didn't do more stories like that

Funny you say that, Chain of Command was originally supposed to be a crossover episode with DS9.

I Madred would have been a little scared when Sisko lost his clothes.

"O.. My... Are all Humans so well... Well, yes. Um. The three of us were talking about something? What was it?"

...

Seriously, would Sisko have "lied" to get out of the discomfort? I do see him as a more adaptable character but the whole dehumanization here is a little too "Roots" to get away with but Picard kept to the truth so long he actually broke. however, listening to Ben's black and white certainty about the Maquis being dirty rotten traitors even though he ended up bedding one of them.

Re: LMAO

I can just imagine Sisko going: "there are four lights" with the same trembling voice with witch he said to Dukat: "Iiii AAAmm"

Re: LMAO

"There-are-4-lights-M/F-UH"
"Now-let-me-go-or-I'll-yo-ass-ALL-ovuh-DIS-compound"
