T:SCC season 3

Have any legitimate sources come out to say that T:SCC has been axed?

Some guy in late March said his buddy who works for something in Hollywood said so. Isn't that a great source?? LOL!

But nothing remotely authentic has said so. Even an article on April 9th said it was a suspicion, but there was nothing announced.

Has anyone heard anything either way?

The show has been a lot better lately, and they'd be crazy to cancel it before Terminator 4.

A lot of you are better Internet sleuths than me... :)

At the moment Terminator is not cancelled; however, the decision is going to be based upon the finale numbers.

Which were very poor. The only saving grace may be the DVR and online viewing numbers, but - I'm sorry to say - don't hold your breath for a third season. Salvation may get it saved, but I don't think it would be a full season order unless the opening episodes had very high numbers.

After the crushing disappointment that was season two... I really couldn't care less if the show gets renewed.

Not enough explosions for you? Too much talky-talky?

If you couldn't care less, why post in a thread inquiring whether there has been any news regarding the show's renewal?

I'm sorry to say that I have heard this from a lot of people in Terminator fandom. The official consensus on TSCC is pretty much you either love it or hate it. A good many people still tune in to watch it expecting it to be more movie than family drama.

I really hope they renew for another season, the season finale was really good, and I want to know what happens next......if they cancel this show and dollhouse, I am going to be pissed at Fox....

^ Hope for good DVR and online viewer ratings (the legal kind - Fox.Com and Hulu NOT YOUTUBE)

I for one, would love to see the resolution to this current storyline.

Leave it to a show with Time Travel to pull that sort of ending with no certainty of a continuation next season.

I just got into the show the past couple weeks. Watched the whole first and second season. I found a lot of the second season to be really boring. It picked up once they killed off John's girlfriend. I think the last four or so episodes were pretty good. Especially the last two. And I REALLY wanna know what happens next! At least give the writers half a season to finish things off. Honestly, the full second season ruined the show, just like the full second season of BSG ruined it. Shows like this should only run for 13 episodes. Otherwise they just get dragged down with filler.

Well, there’s a joke going around the set that we’re going to have our own spin-off series called “Weaver and the Man” and it will be about a detective agency I run with Richard’s character

If Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicless is canceled, they must do the Weaver and the Man. They could tie up the loose ends of T:TSCC story arc in the first episode to make room for the Weaver-Ellison buddy detective drama.

It amazes me that so many people are willing to watch absolute crap as long as it has a familiar title. Fans of a show should be the first ones to cry foul when their show kamikazes into crap-ville.

If season Two's poor plotting, childish characterizations, and moronic story-lines didn't bother you then go ahead and hope for another season of the same.... but don't criticize people who don't feel the same way.

Honestly, I'm pissed that they took a show I enjoyed and drove it into the ground. I'll continue to say so. It's interesting that nobody had a problem with me expressing my opinion when I was cheer-leader for this show during Season One.

I would enjoy a good family drama. I wish this was one.

I'm mostly criticizing you for posting completely off-topic. This thread was not about who wants it to come back or not and why, it was about information regarding the confirmation of whether or not the show was coming back.

My first comment was largely facetious.

Ah, the Internet, where people can complain about everything :D

The only way it won't be canceled is if the movie is a huge hit and the studio doesn't want to bad mouth the Term name.

Otherwise common sense should have shown you it was dead long ago.

I'd put money on them waiting to see how big a hit it is, and then comissioning a short run Jericho style to put out the feelers for renewed interest.

Fair enough. Though, in that case, every post in this thread is off-topic... including yours.

For a good chunk of episodes after it came back from the mid season break, yes. And not even interesting "talky-talky" but dull, puesdo-intellectual "phsycological" "talky-talky" that was written and delivered in such a boring uniteresting manner that it nearly killed my interest in the show dead.

I hope it comes back for a thrid season though as I found it picked up at the end after those episodes, but I also dont want any more cast changes. If Cameron is in it I'll watch a third season, if she isnt then I wont watch even if it is brought back.
