well, according to the report i've read, john has, during his panel, performed a little striptease :guffaw:(helped by bonnie). apparently that was a joke all the time during the con and at the closing ceremony he threw his pant in the audience.

Good thing Connor didn't toss his pants into the crowd... there would have a been a riot.

He looks worn down in those pictures. You can see the jet lag + cold in his eyes. He also looks like he is working out again. Anyone else notice that is one of the few conventions he has appeared in a short sleeve shirt.
 
Just a nit. connnor says "You Know" a grat deal.

Though being an actor his vocabulary would be better.

I think Connor is incredibly articulate. If he leans on a "you know" because he trying to think of what he wants to say, so what? I also think he's very intelligent.

That was an amazing report, NXOner (taped, I assume)! How long did the forum last?
 
Thanks for the really amazing report NXOner, it gives some more insight to the actor and his personality. The questions were quite interesting and Connor was open and thoughtfull in his answers and I think he expressed himself very well.

Actually, when I was studying Shakespeare way back in the dark ages, most of the actors I met could barely string two words together in a private conversation.

Most actors are useless without a script. :lol:
 
His forum was only an hour - he talks fast! And he is articulate - 'You know' and 'you all' is even better in his 'Southern' accent! :techman:

If you want him without the 'you knows' you'd better wait for his audio books to come out!;)
 
Thank you posting for that wonderful report NXoner.It was nice to see Connor's insights in what he did ahead of time to prepare to portray Micheal on Stargate Atlantis.

in reading, i remembered something jinx said once : that she had the feeling that connor wanted to come back in a new show

well, i've the same feeling, now

has i misunderstood or he said that he will be on the stargate movie? i would be curious to see how!

anyway, i hope he will not do some crapy roles (that he mentioned)for money. (or worst reality shows).

The new Stargate magazine had an article about doing alien makeup for the Wraith and had a picture of Connor in Wraith makeup.And had comments about how his look changed for the different seasons. i didn't get the magazine but it had some interasting things to say about the makeup and cotumes for the alien characters.

This photo doesn't do Connor any favours. He was tired, had a cold and was suffering from jet lag. As someone who likes taking photos, I would not post such a photo.
 
So he's tired and jet-lagged. He accommodated a fan's request for a snapshot when he had to know he wasn't at his hunky best.

Pretty damn nice -- and unconceited -- guy IMO. :cool:
