Someone reported it here before and it is good. It is also good to have it referenced in the new Connor thread so it does not get lost. :bolian:

Speaking of Creation Conventions; is anyone planning on attending the New Jersey on Saturday, August 1st to see Connor Trinneer and John Billingsley? I plan on spending the day there with my daughter.

Connor explained they don't look like siblings becuse he takes after his mother's side of the family and Matt takes after his father. Tho' I do think they look alike around the eyes.
 
i think you're right jinx, they look alike around the eyes (and that's all).

:techman:I remember that video. Nice to see it posted again.Over at YouTube there's a Connor video from a New Zeland Convention where he talks about filming Termination Shock. It's a 3 part video and has him discussing his role on Enterprise and playing Micheal on Stargate Atlantis.

hi everyone

just a question :

we can see some stargate actors don't have any problems to find works
(morena bacarin would be in the new tv show "v", michael shanks shot a lot of tv pics, ben browder has new project...)

so why connor don't have new projects ? he is as talented as this actors...

i will never understand the hollywood system

so what are your suppositions?
 
Interesting Question . I remember Connor saying how reality shows made it harder for actors to find work. Hopefully soon there will be news about him doing more roles on tv or in a movie.
 
Are the Stargate actors still in Canada?

Connor lives in L.A. and has to compete with tens of thousands of actors for scarce television and film roles. And has been noted, there are more "reality" shows than "fiction" shows coming out of Hollywood these days. And filmmakers tend -- unfortunately -- to recycle the same actors over and over again rather than take a chance on lesser known actors. Harrison Ford wasn't the first choice for Indiana Jones. Imagine if he hadn't gotten that. Star Wars was a huge hit, but the roles still didn't come fast and furious after "Jedi."

Also, while Connor is very well known -- and liked and respected -- in the sci-fi community, what he needs is a breakout role that gets him noticed by general interest producers/viewers/filmgoers who wouldn't call themselves sci-fi fans but spend a fortune going to any movie with special effects in it. :rolleyes:
