Quite frankly I would love to see Sybok of Vulcan crop up on DISCOVERY at some point, for a number of reasons:-
-: Firstly, he's an interesting character somewhat handicapped by his association with one of the less popular films (we've seen plenty of Vulcans and part-Vulcans struggle with Vulcan Logic, but I'm not sure we've seen any other outright REJECT that discipline and head off in their own direction) and so may benefit from being seen somewhere outside THE FINAL FRONTIER (allowing us to see him more clearly).
-: Secondly, he makes an intriguing foil to Michael Burnham - a human who attempted to be the very best Vulcan she could be and still does her best to live up to (though not necessarily live and die by) her original training; Sybok's wholehearted rejection of Logic and embrace of Emotion (not to mention that Messiah Complex) makes an interesting contrast with Burnham's qualified acceptance.
Also, watching 'Vulcan Jesus' interact with "Science is my Religion" Burnham would almost certainly be excellent comedy value in its own right (right up until Sybok springs his little "Show me your pain" routine).
-: Thirdly, wouldn't it be just HILARIOUS (after all this inter-familial drama amongst Spock's nearest & dearest) to see Sybok show up and thoroughly disconcert Michael Burnham by being a thoroughly warm, utterly accepting & absolutely friendly Big Brother despite having never met her before in his life (Extra comic value if Sybok is being so very friendly and supportive while doing something deeply morally-questionable and/or unethical in furtherance of his monomaniac goal to find God and/or Heaven).
"Sister! I am so very pleased to meet you - how is our Brother Spock? Is Amanda doing well? Are you in good health yourself? Please, please tell me how my family have been!"
...
"Ah, I see information control remains The Ambassador's strong suit."
-: Fourthly, the spore drive (with its ability to go everywhere and its apparent link to everything) and that impressive download of date from The Sphere would make NCC-1031 an overwhelmingly tempting subject for Sybok (determinedly looking for God and apparently determined to make sure that entity has only the very Best chariot ready to roll out); while the ship is undoubtedly hush-hush, especially after the events of Season 2, Sybok's unashamed use & abuse of his psychic powers would almost certainly make it very hard to keep secrets from him, when he knows where to look for them.
-: Finally, the mental image of Mr Zachary Quinto playing Sybock occurred to me and I find it fascinating.
