I find myself really irritated by Lauren's accent. It's grating.

The secret advantage this time was weird. It was actually a penalty against the one who received it? I thought it meant the recipient could designate someone else whose vote would be taken away.

The advantage was given to the woman on the other tribe, who designated somebody on the losing tribe to have their vote taken away.

Right now I'm just hoping Ben's tribe keeps winning immunities until the next switch.

I'm still learning people's names. I'd honestly never even noticed Roark before, and now she's gone.

I missed the reward challenge because the fire alarm went off in the building. I went out to the lobby long enough to see if it was a real situation or just someone playing a prank. Since the firefighters didn't tell everyone to evacuate, I went back to my suite just in time to hear people grumbling about losing the reward (what was it, anyway?).

I won't miss Roark, she was practically invisible for several episodes and then was kind of snooty in this one. I also wasn't sad to see Alan go last week. I agree that it would be nice to see Joe go soon, I'm not typically a fan of the bragging, bully type players.

I am really liking Lauren. She is smart, strategic, strong, and somehow keeps wiggling her way into the tribes even when she seems to be on the outs. I feel like I should be a fan of Chrissy and Ben, since they are both smart players as well, but there's something I don't like about them. I find Chrissy kind of annoying.

Currently rooting for Ben just because a lot of players have seemed smart but nobody has really stood out. That is the reason this season so far is okay but not super-memorable. All the characters know how to play generally but nobody is super-entertaining. I kinda like Ryan I guess but I don't understand why he lied to Ari.

Everybody is okay this season, nobody is great. I have no idea who's going to win, pretty much anyone still in can.

I'm getting a distinct sense this will be another season where somebody is blindsided every tribal council. No way those 7 people stay together. Maybe they stay focused on Joe for one more episode because he's the most blatantly shifty one.

I guess now I can start bothering to learn more of their names.

Right now Ryan is the most memorable, and I'm honestly hoping he'll win (it's a long shot, to be sure, since he's not as strong physically as a lot of others).

I think of Lauren as the woman whose accent I can't stand. I wish she would just stay silent, because her voice grates on my nerves.

I hadn't even noticed Desi until last night. Good for her, winning that immunity.

And I have NO idea who is going to win here. This is the first time we've been at the 11 person point and I've honestly thought every player had roughly equal chance to win. This is the most evenly matched season of Survivor in history.

I would not be happy if any of the jerks won (Joe, J.P., the guy who eats all the food and doesn't share).

I guess right now my favorites are Ryan and Chrissy. They both have decent social games, they're realistic about how the game works, and while they've annoyed some people on the show, they haven't annoyed me.

So from the preview, it looks like a physical fight for the idol?

Lauren is still one of my favorites, along with Ryan. I actually like Lauren's accent, it's kind of melodic. I also just like the way she speaks very matter of factly. I see her as the "voice of the audience," saying what we are thinking but no one else is saying.

I'm not a fan of Chrissy, she's still rubbing me the wrong way. I think it's because she's gotten a bit arrogant. She's convinced that she's the smartest person out there. Hopefully seeing that she was a target at the latest tribal council will humble her a bit.

I also like Dr. Mike a lot. He's another one who is down to earth, has good observation skills, and might make it far because he won't be seen as a challenge threat.

I agree that this seems like a very evenly matched season. Even Desi, who I thought was one of the weaker players, stepped up and won immunity. It's anyone's game!

I'm confused, how is JP a jerk? They've just shown him working hard around camp and things like that. I don't think Cole's malicious either, just oblivious.

Favorites are: Ben, Dr. Mike, Lauren. Only one I'm really rooting against is Joe.

He's done something in every single episode to indicate he's a jerk. I can't enumerate them at the moment because I've been awake for 32 hours and can barely think right now.
